A representation of the community of Cubans residing in Ghana attended the commemorative political-cultural activity for the 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The activity organized jointly by the Cuban embassy and the Foreign Ministry of the host country was based at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), and was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana, Ms. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, as well as a group of members of the government, of Parliament, and of the spectrum of national political parties.
The Cuban residents celebrated the six decades of bilateral relations in the company of a representation of the Diplomatic Corps; of the organizations that make up the Solidarity Movement with Cuba; of the Cuban Medical Brigade; the staff of the Embassy of Cuba, and other guests.
Attendees of the political-cultural activity enjoyed Ghanaian music performed by the group Freedom Band, and the famous singer Amanzeba Nat Yaw. Cuban music was also heard at the AICC.
