The Cuban residents in Ghana celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution

A representation of the Cuban residents in Ghana were  witness in the early morning of January 1st of the arrival of the Cuban Revolution on its sixtieth anniversary. Amid the jubilation over the six decades of victories and resistance, the Cubans and their families sang the notes of the National Anthem.

The activity of homage to the Revolution was organized jointly by the Embassy of Cuba and the Association of Ghanaian Graduates in Cuba (ESBECAN), and had an important participation of the personalities and organizations that make up the Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba, and of the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade who work in Ghana.

The activity was a favorable framework for the Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, to give Cuban residents, Luisa and Wilsa Foster Breal, a Diploma of Recognition for their active participation in the activities organized by the Diplomatic Mission, and especially by the support provided during the visit to Ghana by the government delegation headed by the Vice President of the Council of the State, Mercedes López Acea.
