International Women's Day was commemorated on Sunday, March 10, in an activity that brought together a large group of Cubans residing in Greece and officials from the Cuban embassy in this country.
This year's meeting held, as on other occasions, in an atmosphere of fraternity and friendship, had, however, a special characteristic, as it included the presence of the young Cuban Kenia Borges Brotón, who obtained first place in the National Category during the first international Barladies competition, held on March 8 and 9 at the Presidente Hotel in Athens.
Both she and the other members of the delegation received expressions of affection and sympathy from the attendees who showed them their joy and pride in the important result achieved, which highly values the quality of our professionals and especially the women who work in the sector and who exalt with their attitude and dedication the life and work of Cuban women in revolution.
