Accra, 25 June 2025. – The Cuban State Mission in Ghana gathered to celebrate with great joy, like all our heroic people, the 72nd Anniversary of National Rebellion Day.
Along with diplomats and members of the Medical Brigade, we were joined by our fraternal friend Kwesi Pratt Jr., leader of the Socialist Movement of Ghana; several members of the Association of Graduates in Ghana; and other friends from the Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba in Ghana.
The youngest members of our Mission recited the poem written by El Indio Naborí, entitled “La mañana de la Santa Ana” (The Morning of Saint Anne).
The heroic deed of Moncada planted the seed of the Revolution that we have been defending for 66 years. It was a joyful gathering where Cubans and Ghanaians came together to celebrate that event, which marked a milestone in our history.
