Accra. 06 January. – Members staff of the Cuban State Mission in Ghana solemnly honored the 32 Cubans who fell on Venezuelan soil following the criminal aggression of the U.S. government.
In his remarks, Ambassador Julio E. Pujol Torres condemned the treacherous attack aimed at the capture and kidnapping of Venezuela’s elected President, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Celia, in a military operation that constitutes a flagrant violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations.
Present at the tribute were the Second Secretary, comrade Yamil Eduardo Martínez Marrero; the Head of the Medical Brigade, Dr. Mailen López Zequeira; the remaining members of the Embassy; and specialists of the Brigade working in the Ghanaian capital.
