Cuban trade unionist arrives in Norway

Oslo, May 29, 2022. Leovanys Ávila Góngora, deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power and member of the Secretariat of the Central Workers’ Union of Cuba (CTC), arrived in Norway this afternoon.

After being received at Oslo-Gardermoen airport by Morten Hovda, from the International Department of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), Ávila Góngora met the ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, who welcomed him and explained details of the program.

During his stay in Norway, the Cuban trade unionist will participate as a guest in the XXXV Congress of LO, which will take place from May 30 to June 3 in Oslo Congress Centre. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
