Dublin September 29, 2108. The headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba in Dublin hosted a fraternal meeting of the Cuban vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Teresita González Fraga with a representation of friends of the Cuban Revolution belonging to various organizations and sectors, as well as Cuban citizens living in Ireland.
The vice chancellor had the opportunity to exchange with those present - among who were deputies, political leaders, trade unionists, solidarity activists, artists, businessmen and friends in general - on various topics of Cuban current affairs, such as the broad process of popular discussion of the draft constitution that will be submitted to a referendum in February 2019.
The efforts of the Cuban people and government to advance in the updating of our economic model, the multiple actions underway to achieve a more efficient and sustainable economy, the diversification and expansion of exports and the growth of foreign investments, aroused the interest of those attending the meeting.
It also discussed the severe impact on the economy and daily life of the Cuban people caused by the economic, commercial and financial blockade, aggravated by the complementary sanctions issued by the Trump administration, in its vain effort to destroy the Cuban Revolution and the progressive governments of Latin America and the Caribbean.
