Cuban Vice Chancellor Rogelio Sierra visits historic sites in Bridgetown.

Despite an intense program of activities on his official visit to Barbados, from June 9 to 11, the Cuban delegation presided over by Foreign Relations Deputy Minister Rogelio Sierra, composed of Jorge Luis Mayo, director of the Caribbean and Central America, and Diana Mora (translator), space was opened for a night tour to meet the iconic city of Bridgetown with its heritage attractions - such as the Parliament Building and the City Bridge - and memorable historical sites, especially the Independence Square where the monument to the National Hero and father lies of independence, Errol Walton Barrow, and the plaque dedicated to the resistance against human trafficking and the slavery system, which is marking the first place where the British Empire concentrated the slaves brought from Africa in the Caribbean for their subsequent distribution to the entire subregion.
