Cuban Vice President, Salvador Valdés Mesa, visits former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Kufuor.

Accra, November 14, 2023. - The Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa paid a visit to the former President of Ghana, John Kufuor, as part of his official programme to the African country. During the meeting, the Cuban leader offered his condolences, on behalf of the people and the Government of Cuba, for the recent death of the former first lady, Theresa Kufuor.

The meeting was also an opportunity to recall the many joint actions undertaken between the two countries during the period in which the Ghanaian official held the presidency of the sister African nation.
