Cuban Vice Prime Minister develops work agenda in Venezuela.

Caracas, June 17, 2021.- The Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, develops an intense work schedule as part of his visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
On the morning of this Thursday he held a fraternal meeting with the sector vice president for the Economy and the Minister of People's Power for Petroleum, Tareck Zaidan El Aissami Maddah. Previously, he had met with the Ministers of the Popular Power for Health, Dr. Carlos Alvarado González; for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo; for Electric Power, Néstor Luis Reverol Torres; and with the president of PDVSA, Asdrúbal Chávez.
Each of the meetings was an opportunity to reaffirm the invariable ties of solidarity and brotherhood between both countries and peoples, as well as to exchange on ways to continue strengthening the effectiveness of collaboration in the midst of the criminal economic war that the government of The United States has imposed on Cuba and Venezuela.
It was emphasized that, in the midst of this difficult situation characterized by the confrontation with the pandemic, the priority of both governments is the preservation of the health of the people. In this sense, the Cuban representative reaffirmed the will of the highest Cuban authorities to make available to Venezuela the results obtained in the research and development of vaccines against COVID-19.
Vice Prime Minister Cabrisas affirmed that "the legacy that Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and Commander Hugo Chávez left us will forever guide relations between Cuba and Venezuela."
