Cubans in Ghana ratify their support to the homeland during the Father´s Day celebration

During the tribute to parents, a representation of the Cuban residents in Ghana, the Cuban Embassy staff and members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, condemned the speech delivered in Miami the day before by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, where he rolled back the process of normalization of relations with Cuba.

The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis González Despaigne, during the presentation of the activity read the Official Declaration of the Cuban Government against the change of policy by the US Government. The Cuban diplomat also paid tribute to the founding fathers of the Cuban nation, especially José Martí and Fidel Castro and called on all participants to continue to support the struggle against the blockade.

The participants ratified the right of the Cuban people to decide their destiny without external pressures and explicitly proclaimed their support to the Cuban Government. The celebration of Father's Day in Ghana was a time of revolutionary reaffirmation and enjoyment of the Cuban identity.
