Cubans in Grenada join the #DropTheBlockade demand.

St. George's, October 26. From the Grenada Carenage, Cuban residents and collaborators on the island joined the global caravan against the Blockade that travels through world capitals every last Sunday of the month. Cuban Ambassador Ivette Martínez shared with the participants about the communications campaign discrediting Cuba, which creates false scenarios, generates confusion, and pressures the government to change its vote on the Cuban resolution against the Blockade.

The diplomat stated that next Wednesday, October 29, at the United Nations General Assembly, the world will raise the banners of solidarity and justice in defense of the Cuban people. Once again, the United States will be isolated, and this will be a doubly meritorious victory for Cuba given the circumstances Cuba is facing today.

With the #DropTheBlockade demand, Cubans reaffirmed their conviction that the Blockade is the main obstacle to the development and prosperity of the Cuban people.
