Kingston, 26 July 2024. Representatives of different generations of Cubans residing in Jamaica actively participated in the organisation and celebration of the event marking the 71st anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.
Professor Osvaldo Cardenas, on behalf of the Association of Cuban Residents, denounced the impact of the genocidal policy of the blockade and the permanence of our country on the spurious and unilateral list of state sponsors of terrorism. He reaffirmed his confidence that despite the difficulties our country will move forward, maintain the achievements of the revolution and the internationalist work around the world.
The occasion was an opportunity for children and adolescents, descendants of Cuban residents, to learn about one of the most significant events in the history of Cuba and Latin America.
