Namibia, May 1st, 2020- Cubans residing in Namibia have sent the Embassy of Cuba in this capital countless messages of energetic rejection and condemnation of the terrorist aggression perpetrated against the Embassy of Cuba in the United States, demanding the immediate investigation of the facts by the North American government and the application of justice. Phrases like: "the authors deserve all the contempt and weight of the law on them", "respect for the rights of others is peace", "a despicable, abominable act, an unacceptable fact," said Cubans residing in this country.
They also expressed the immediate need to lift the criminal economic, financial and commercial blockade of the United States against Cuba that has prevented the acquisition of food, medicine and hospital supplies for the Cuban people; and they unanimously cited international solidarity and unity among countries in the current pandemic caused by the Coronavirus.
The expressions of support for Cuba received: “No more aggressions against Cuba! Long live Cuba! Down with the Blockade! Long live May 1st!” demonstrate the repudiation of Cubans residing in Namibia to all hostile actions against Cuba, and once again unite from their homes to demand respect for peace and sovereignty of the peoples.
