The collective of the Cuban State Mission in Saint Lucia, headed by Ambassador Alejandro Simancas, has ratified their support for peace and their rejection to military intervention in the Bolivarian nation by joining the “hands out of Venezuela” campaign. The Cuban representatives in Saint Lucia were at the Embassy of Venezuela to express their solidarity with the Government and people of that country and to endorse the call to end the interference and imperialist plans of destabilization and aggression. On behalf of the Cuban collaborators in attendance, from the fields of health care, sports and construction, José Luis López, Coordinator of the Medical Brigade, reaffirmed Cuba’s support. For her part, the Venezuelan Ambassador, Leiff Escalona showed appreciation for the expressions of solidarity and support from the Government and people of Cuba.
