Cuba's ambassador to Ankara attends the opening of an exhibition in support of Cuba in Izmir

The José Martí Cuba Friendship Association took part in the opening of the “Solidarity with Cuba” exhibition at the Izmir Architecture Center, an event dedicated to strengthening friendship and solidarity with the Cuban people.

The opening ceremony was attended by Alejandro Francisco Díaz Palacios, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Ankara, alongside Zuhal Okuyan, founding member of the THTM, and Association President Nahide Özkan. During the event, participants also highlighted their joint involvement in the “Collecting Sunshine for Cuba” campaign, a symbolic initiative expressing solidarity and support for the island.

Organizers emphasized that the exhibition once again highlights the continued importance of international solidarity with Cuba, as well as growing interest in its culture and social reality.

They also expressed gratitude to the participating artists and all contributors to the exhibition, inviting the public to visit the Izmir Architecture Center.

The exhibition is open on weekdays from 12:00 to 20:00 and on weekends from 15:00 to 20:00, welcoming visitors who wish to support and expand solidarity with Cuba.
