Cuba’s Consul General in Istanbul Holds Meeting with the City’s Deputy Governor.

The Consul General of Cuba in Istanbul Raúl E. Madrigal Cárdenas held a meeting with Can Aksoy, Deputy Governor of Istanbul and Acting Mayor of the municipality of Esenyurt, during which issues of mutual interest in the cultural and economic fields were addressed.

During the meeting, Aksoy expressed interest in Cuba’s current political and economic situation, particularly in the context of the tightening of the economic and financial blockade imposed by the United States and the oil restrictions in place since last January, conveying his solidarity.

The meeting took place in a cordial and respectful atmosphere, reaffirming the willingness of both sides to continue strengthening ties of cooperation and exchange.
