Accra, 28 August 2025. – Throughout more than 65 years of excellent bilateral relations between Cuba and Ghana, there have been indispensable friends who have stood by our country in countless struggles. Such is the case of Kofi Attor.
Our Embassy was honoured by his presence and his ever-pleasant smile. In a conversation with Ambassador Julio E. Pujol Torres, the former Member of Parliament for Ho until 2005, demonstrated that he carries Cuba in his heart. He recalled details of his visits to our island as part of government, parliamentary, and party delegations from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
This friend, who personally met Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, speaks of him with a special brightness in his eyes. Kofi reaffirmed his enduring commitment to our cause.
