The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Türkiye, Dr. Alejandro Díaz Palacios, held an official meeting today with Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Aliy, President of the renowned Yunus Emre Institute, with the aim of strengthening cultural, academic, and cooperation ties between both nations.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of deepening cultural dialogue and expanding exchange programs that promote mutual understanding between the peoples of Cuba and Türkiye. The Ambassador highlighted Cuba’s interest in advancing joint initiatives in the fields of language, arts, education, and international cultural promotion.
Prof. Dr. Aliy expressed the Yunus Emre Institute’s willingness to broaden cooperation with Cuban cultural institutions, particularly through projects focused on language instruction, cultural events, and the development of joint academic programs.
