Denmark, April 28, 2023. The Danish parliamentarian, Lise Bech, Chair of the Foreign Policy Committee, and representative of the Democratic Party, received the GRULAC Ambassadors, at the headquarters of the unicameral body that holds the legislative power of the Kingdom of Denmark, the “Folketing”.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, in Denmark, Roger López García, addressed various topics of interest in the field of bilateral relations, and both national and international news in our country.
The diplomat from the Greater Antilles explained various aspects of the Cuban democratic model, inspired by the power of the people, which has been the protagonist of the most important events developed in Cuba, and more recently, since the approval of the new Magna Carta in 2019.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Jesper Petersen, Spokesman for Internationals of the Social Democratic Party, and advisers Niklas Borker Bjerre together with Amalie Bentsdatter Andresen.
The meeting in Parliament was an excellent opportunity for the Danish legislators to exchange with the representatives of the Latin American region, which also includes Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Argentina.
