The Greek Committee for International Democratic Solidarity (EEDDA) denounces and indignantly condemns the Greek government that, together with a series of other reactionary governments from various parts of the world, signed the unacceptable resolution of the State Department against Cuba, for "mass arrests" and demanding "full restoration of Internet access."
Continuing its aggression against the Cuban government and people, which until now includes the instigation and organization of provocative demonstrations and vandalism by groups of "dissidents" paid up to new sanctions against Cuban leaders, the imperialists of the United States and the Union They are trying to achieve what they have not achieved until today with the harsh economic, commercial and financial blockade: to overthrow the Cuban government and install in the country a government to their liking.
The Greek government of the New Democracy, which is proud that its first foreign policy action when it took office, was to recognize the United States puppet Juan Guaidó as “interim president” of Venezuela, continues its political decline, and in flagrant contradiction with the express will of the Greek people, supports the unacceptable policy of the United States and the EU against Cuba and signs a shameful resolution, supposedly being "concerned" about the human rights of the Cuban people.
EEDDA decisively supports the Cuban people and their struggle to continue living free, without foreign intervention. The plans of imperialism are doomed to failure. The Cuban people will once again resist aggressive plans and attempts at intervention. He has at his side the peoples of the whole world, and of course the Greek people, who massively condemned the old and new imperialist plans against socialist Cuba. He demands that the inhuman blockade end right now and that the Cuban people be free to follow the path that they themselves chose.
