Declaration of the Swedish-Cuban Association in solidarity with the Cuban people who have been hit by two hurricanes

The Swedish-Cuban Association stands in solidarity with the Cuban people who have been hit by two hurricanes and two earthquakes in a short period of time. In addition to the natural disasters, there is also the extremely anti-Cuban administration that will take office in the United States in January 2025. We would like to express our support for the Cuban authorities and people in their arduous task of reconstruction, something that is made more difficult by the cruel blockade and sanctions. We have launched a fundraising campaign to contribute to the reconstruction. The first contributions have already been sent and we promise to send more.
