Nassau, February 20, 2019. Continuing exchanges begun more than five years ago, from February 20 to 25, 2019, a Bahamian delegation headed by the Honorable Shonel Ferguson, Member of Parliament and President of Clifton Historical Park visit Cuba. The delegation also includes members of the Antiquities, Monuments and Museums of The Bahamas and other Bahamian institutions.
During their stay in the Pearl of the Caribbean, the delegation will develop an extensive program with the Office of the Historian of the city of Havana. The meeting serves as a framework for the exchange of experiences in the field of cooperation in the area of heritage conservation and the execution of united projects in defense of the historical roots of both nations.
Cuba and the Bahamas are two small nations committed to the protection of historical and cultural heritage.
