Delegation from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples Arrives in Athens

Athens, June 22. This afternoon, a delegation from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) arrived in Athens. It is headed by the Institute's First Vice President, Noemí Rabaza Fernández, and includes Rigoberto Zarza Ross, Director of Europe.
The delegation, invited by the Hellenic-Cuban Friendship Association, plans to participate in a broad program of activities with various organizations and Friendship Associations that make up the Solidarity with Cuba and its people movement in Greece. As part of the program, the delegation will visit the Thessaloniki region at the invitation of the Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Cuba in that city.
At the airport, they were greeted by Nikos Karandreas, president of the Hellenic-Cuban Friendship Association, and Despina Markous, a member of the organization's board of directors and head of the Greek Committee for International Democratic Solidarity (EEDDA). Also present at the airport to welcome them was the Cuban Ambassador to Greece, Aramís Fuente Hernández.
