We warmly welcome the delegation from Nepal and recognize that country's commitment to the Universal Periodic Review.
We congratulate Nepal on the implementation of the School Sector Development Program, which has improved universal access to primary and secondary education.
We also recognize national efforts to implement Programs for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+).
In a constructive spirit, we recommend:
Strengthening the National Agricultural Modernization Project, the Small and Medium Farmers' Income Enhancement Project, the Agricultural Insurance Program, and the Minimum Support Price Program to continue promoting the right to an adequate standard of living.
2. Advancing the implementation of the Janata Awas and Secure Citizen Housing programs.
We wish Nepal every success in this review and in the implementation of the accepted recommendations.
