Delegation of health-medical education and media communication conglomerates visit Embassy of Cuba

Islamabad, August 8, 2026. A combined representation of the Rashid Latif Khan Group (RLK) and the Diplomatic Insight Group (DIG) visited the Cuban Diplomatic Mission and held a fruitful exchange with the Ambassador of Cuba, Damián Cordero. The visit, aimed at extending an invitation to the Cuban diplomatic re

presentation to participate in the Health and Education Exhibition in the city of Lahore, under the auspices of the Rashid Latif Khan Group, at the end of August, was also an excellent opportunity to discuss possibilities for exchanges and cooperation with both groups—one focused on health and medical education, and the other on communication regarding public diplomacy and foreign policy affairs, both renowned in their respective spheres of work.

The Cuban Ambassador thanked Professor Dr. Saeed Ul Hassan Chishti, Vice Chancellor of RLK University, and Dr. Farhat Asif, President of DIG, senior representatives of the delegation, for the gesture of their visit. He was explicit regarding the daily affectations experienced by Cuba, stemming from the increased energy siege and the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government against the solidary Island, which is also specially designed to impact, discredit, and isolate the scientific achievements and even the international cooperation that the Cuban nation has attained in terms of health and education.
