Oslo, July 26, 2026. Once again, friends of the Cuban Revolution have gathered in the square in front of the Norwegian Parliament as a sign of solidarity.
Organized by the Communist Party of Norway and Cubaforeningen i Norge, friends from various organizations supporting the Cuban Revolution met this afternoon, 26 July 2026, to commemorate the 73 anniversary of the attack on the Moncada Barracks, an event that marked the start of the Cuban Revolution led by Fidel Castro Ruz, whose centenary will be celebrated on 13 August.
The occasion served to condemn the aggression suffered by the Cuban people as a result of the brutal economic stranglehold imposed by the US Government and the threats of military aggression.
A renewed call was made to strengthen international solidarity and, in particular, to mobilize European public opinion and the governments of the region in defense of international law and the interests of the many European companies that are being forced to sever their economic ties with Cuba.
