On October 17, more than 500 leaflets on the history of the US blockade against Cuba and its impact were distributed on the streets of several cities in Denmark. Likewise, copies of the letter of the Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship sent to the US President Donald Trump, calling for the end of that genocidal policy, were also disseminated.
Activists of solidarity with Cuba supported by Cuban residents exchanged with Danish people in different public places of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Kolding and Esbjerg in order to spread the damages and suffering caused by the economic, commercial and financial US blockade to the Cuban people for almost 60 years. The initiative also included a denunciation in front of the US Embassy in Denmark to demand the end of the blockade. (Embacuba Dinamarca)
