Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives to Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, March 21 - The deputy secretary general for bilateral affairs of the Malaysian ministry of foreign affairs, Ambassador Raja Nurhirwan Zainal Abidin received the Cuban ambassador, Ibete Fernández Hernández on a courtesy call.

During the exchange, the parties discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral interest that contribute to the strengthening of relations between Cuba and Malaysia.

Ambassador Abidin lamented the existence of the blockade as the main obstacle to the normalization of Cuba's ties with the United States government and coincided with his counterpart in the need to work to revitalize Malaysia-Cuba trade.
