Nigeria, August 17th, 2023. The designated ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, received at the headquarters of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Abuja, Mr. Dele Kelvin Oye, who is President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
During the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and friendship, both parties agreed on the deep historical and cultural ties that unite the Caribbean Island with Africa, and in particular with Nigeria, where common elements are identified in traditional dances, food and religion, which began during the colonial period in Cuba and currently remain in the elements of the country's national identity.
Based on so many common elements, the Cuban diplomat and the Nigerian trade director conveyed their satisfaction for the fruitful meeting, an opportunity to highlight the interest in continuing to deepen trade relations between our nations.
The President of NACCIMA was accompanied by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, while Counselor Pavel Bauzá Fusté participated from the Cuban embassy.
