Kingston, April 9, 2025. Diplomats from the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica participated in the Spanish Day activities at the Kingston Technical High School, which focused on the imprint of Artificial Intelligence in Hispanic countries in the 21st century.
During the exchange with the students, the diplomats highlighted the AI Development Strategy in our country and its working system, which are part of the Digital Transformation Policy. They also referred to the fields where projects have been promoted: criminal investigation, health, population care services, public administration, transport and meteorology. They underlined the efforts made by specialists in the field and the achievements made, despite the impact of the genocidal policy of the blockade.
This activity is part of the actions undertaken by Professor Dayana Webb, a Cuban resident in Jamaica, who is part of the staff of this centre.
