Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, will participate in the XXIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), which is being held today in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The Heads of State and Government will exchange views on various challenges facing the members of the Alliance, the region and the world, as well as other issues of interest for the benefit of our peoples.
ALBA is made up of Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Grenada and Cuba.
Accompanying President Díaz-Canel as part of the delegation are Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera, Cuban Ambassador to Venezuela; and Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Deputy Minister of MINREX and National Coordinator of the ALBA-TCP, among other MINREX Directors and officials.
