Havana, April 24th, 2024. - Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, will participate in the XXIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), which will take place today in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The Heads of State and Government will exchange on various challenges facing the members of the Alliance, the region and the world, and other issues of interest for the benefit of our peoples.
ALBA is made up of Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, Grenada and Cuba.
Accompanying President Díaz-Canel as part of the delegation are Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs; the Cuban Ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera; and Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Deputy Minister of MINREX and National Coordinator of ALBA-TCP, among other directors and officials of MINREX.
