The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received this morning the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, who is making an official visit to our country.
In a cordial atmosphere they reviewed the historical and fraternal relations that unite the two countries and reiterated their willingness to promote political ties, solidarity and cooperation. They also exchanged on topics of the international agenda.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, Minister of Health and Napoleon Abdulai, Ambassador of Ghana on the Island.
On the Cuban side participated Marcelino Medina González, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Pedro Luis Despaigne González, Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana.
