Diplomatic Crops bids farewell to the Cuban Ambassador.

Wellington, November 23rd. With a reception at the Wellington Club organized by the Dean, the Diplomatic Corps accredited in New Zealand said goodbye to the Ambassador of Cuba, Edgardo Valdés, and his wife, First Secretary Dalila Vázquez, who will finish their mission soon.

The Dean briefly recounted the Ambassador's career and highlighted the way in which both Cuban officials integrated into the diplomatic community.

The Ambassador thanked his colleagues for their support and friendship and praised the beauties of New Zealand and the kindness of its inhabitants.

Finally, he received the traditional silver tray from his colleagues.
