Documentary “Fidel is Fidel” screened in New Zealand

Auckland, 12 August- Members of the Cuba Friendship Society in Auckland, New Zealand, and friends of the Caribbean nation gathered to celebrate the 90th birthday of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, in an event that had as its centre the projection of the documentary "Fidel is Fidel".

While presenting the film, Ambassador of Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, shared with those present some ideas on the legacy the Commander in Chief, highlighting his great concern for humanity and the priority that has always had social justice in his ideas and actions.

Robert Reid, General Secretary of "First Union", emphasized the important role of Cuba for the working class all over the world, permanently preserving their rights. Comrade Reid also commented don Fidel Castro as a leader with great vision and new revolutionary ideas having in mind all the time the struggle of the working class.

The documentary by the prestigious Cuban filmmaker and photographer Roberto Chile, will be also presented in Wellington on August 23rd, occasion that will once again be conducive to make known the call from the Network in Defense of Humanity to sign a congratulatory message to the leader of the Cuban Revolution.
