Kingston, 16 April 2025. Members of the Cuba Solidarity Movement and the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica coordinated the shipment of a donation in support of the Cuban health system.
The solidarity assistance, which departed from Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston and arrived in the city of Santiago de Cuba, consists of more than 500 kg of medical supplies, food and other materials, which will be destined primarily for the Mother and Child Care Programme and other social institutions.
For the transfer operation to Cuba, the Cuban State Mission had the support of the Cuban Medical Brigade working in the Caribbean nation, the travel agency Caribbean & Latin Travel and the airline Aerogaviota.
