Dr. Aleida Guevara March, who is visiting Greece, participated in a meeting with representatives of immigrant and refugee communities that make up the Greek Immigrants Forum, made up of a network of organizations and communities from African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Eastern European and Balkan countries, which have their headquarters in Athens.
This organization, which functions as a second-tier union, was founded in 2002 and today its members number more than 40 groups.
The meeting included a discussion on the life and work of Commander Che Guevara, in the framework of the commemoration of the 57th anniversary of his assassination in Bolivia. Dr. Guevara answered various questions from the attendees.
The meeting, which was also a good time to remember Cuban Culture Day, concluded with a performance by a children's choir that performed various musical works.
