Drums Party in Barbados

The night of March 6 was witness of rithm and color at the Drum Festival, sponsored by the Israel Lovell Foundation of Bridgetown, Barbados.

Dedicated to African roots in the Caribbean, this event, in its first edition, served as a stage for children, young people and more experienced people who, as part of a community project, showed the authenticity of their art.

At the event attended Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knigth, Minister in Charge of Culture in the Office of the Prime Minister in Barbados, Senator John King and Member of Parliament, Trevor Prescod. The Chargé d'Affaires of Venezuela, Martha Ortega, and the Ambassador of Cuba in Barbados, Yanet Stable, also attended.
