The Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica pays tribute to the 32 Cuban combatants who fell in the line of duty.

Kingston, 8 January 2026. With a minute of silence, the team at the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica began their tribute to the 32 Cuban combatants who fell in combat during the criminal and terrorist attack by the United States on Venezuela on 3 January.

The Cuban diplomatic representation highlighted the courage, dedication and commitment of the Cuban combatants to the defence of sovereignty, peace and international solidarity, principles of the foreign policy of the Cuban Revolution.

Its members reiterated their condemnation of the interventionist actions and violations of international law carried out by the Donald Trump administration, while ratifying the words of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez at the Anti-Imperialist Tribune: ‘For Venezuela, and of course also for Cuba, we are willing to give even our own blood, even our own lives, but at a very high price!’
