Kingston, 6 June 2025. Cuban diplomats welcomed twenty members of the Spanish Club of Denbigh High School, located in the Clarendon region, to the mission headquarters in Jamaica.
During the exchange, the students conversed about national symbols and attributes, expanding their knowledge of the life and work of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, our National Hero José Martí, and the Bronze Titan Antonio Maceo. They showed particular interest in the results achieved by the Greater Antilles in health and education.
This activity is part of the efforts undertaken by Miviala La Rosa Betancourt, a Cuban teacher residing in Jamaica, to bring her students closer to the history and culture of our country.
