Vientiane, April 2024 . The Embassy of Cuba participated in the activities held by the Governor of Vientiane, on the occasion of the new year 2567, organized by the Governor of the capital of Vientiane, Mr. Athsaphangthong Siphandone.

Multicolored marches of the Lao people, with the sprinkling of water to wish happiness, health and prosperity with adherence to their traditions, offered those present an enriching spectacle of the culture of this Southeast Asian nation.

The Cuban Ambassador sent her good wishes and congratulations to the Governor, Lao leaders and people, and wished for the success of Laos' pro-tempore presidency in ASEAN during 2024.
