NIGERIA, March 29, 2019. The Embassy of Cuba in Nigeria participated in the 1st International Agricultural Event, Agritech Nigeria 2019, held in the State of Osun from 26 to 28 March.
The event featured a conference session and an exhibition session. The Cuban diplomatic mission was represented by its II Secretary, Leydis Bernal Suárez, where she presented the achievements of urban and organic agriculture that is applied in the Caribbean nation. It was also explained to them that Cuban agriculture is based on scientific research, from which biological products are obtained that are beneficial, not only in plants and animals, but in human health.
Also present at the event were the Embassies of Brazil, Venezuela, Benin, Kenya, Cote d'Ivoire, Israel and a representative of the United Nations for Women. The activity was attended by the local state media, TVC News.
