The Embassy of Cuba participates in the Inauguration of the XXXIV Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championship in Barbados.

On the occasion of the celebration of the XXXIV Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championship in Barbados, the Embassy of Cuba attended the opening of the games in the Swimming Pool Complex of the National Gymnasium, together with the Swimming Federations, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Development, the Honorable Charles J. Griffith and the Director of the National Sports Council, Neil Murrell.

Representatives from all over the Caribbean and Central America participate in the championship, in addition to Mexico and Venezuela. Cuban swimmers will compete in men's and women's water polo and open water swimming.

The flags of the participating countries decorate the area of ​​the Pool Complex where the competition will be held.
