The Hague, 17 May 2018. The Ambassador of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands H.E. Mrs Soraya Alvarez Núñez paid a visit to the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.
The Ambassador and her delegation were received by Prof. Dr Eddy Moors, Dean of the Institute, and the professors Dr. Damir Brdjanovic, Dr. Carlos M Lopez, Dr. Arlex Sanchez and Dr. Sergio Salinas.
During the visit, visitors and guests made a blance of the main results of the recent researches and projects conducted between the IHE Delf and Cuban universities, the Polytechnical University of Havana and the Ministry of Food Industry.
During the visit, there were also discussion about the potentialities and spaces identified for cooperation that could be promoted in fields of interest for both sides.
The Ambassador was accompanied by the Second Secretary in charge of cooperation,José Pérez Lazo Ph.D., and the Third Secretary Ms Katia Aruca Chaple, in charge of Culture, Press and Solidarity.
