Members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Namibia, brothers and sisters of the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, collaborators and Cuban residents enjoyed the screening of the documentary "Cuba, stories of an endless Revolution". The filmic work, which addresses the reality of the Island from its protagonists, was very well received by the participants.
The documentary, of an excellent performance, shows the Cuban reality as it is, without the manipulations of the world press. It is a sign of the will of Cubans to continue with the construction of a fair and independent social model.
The occasion was also favorable for Ambassador Giraldo Mazola to explain to the attendees the results obtained by Cuba this year in the Third Cycle of the Universal Periodic Review in Human Rights, in the Human Rights Council of the United Nations.
The Ambassador appreciated the recommendations made by the countries represented by the participants. Likewise, he strongly criticized those carried out by the United States, which suffer from objectivity and have a marked interventionist nature.
