On the night of this April 25, at the Headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Barbados, an exhibition of a Cuban-Palestinian Film Showcase took place, featuring several films that capture the history of two peoples who have been victims of imperialistic ambition for decades, but who have demonstrated immeasurable resilience based on historic traditions of struggle.
It was also a suitable occasion to, in the year of the centenary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, pay tribute to one who was a tireless defender of the Palestinian cause.
The Ambassador of Cuba in Barbados, Yanet Stable Cárdenas, deeply thanked the Caribbean Movement against Apartheid in Palestine for the initiative and the valuable contribution to this emotional event. She also thanked the organizers of the Barbados-Cuba Aid Initiative for their solidarity and unconditional support and denunciation of the U.S. blockade imposed on the Cuban people.
