Accra. January 7, 2025. - Cuba Alumni Association dubbed ESBECAN sent a congratulatory message to the Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana.
In the letter, Philip Bentil Arthur and Kwame Boakye Agyeman, President and Secretary General of the organisation, respectively, commended the public servant's political record and human sensitivity. While acknowledging his position of support for Cuba they urged Okudzeto Ablakwa “to working together in this direction to advocate for the lifting of these sanctions and promote a more equitable and just relationship between Cuba and the international community”.
ESBECAN, with more than 40 years of existence, brings together graduates of Cuban study centres who show their appreciation and support for the Cuban Revolution.
