On the initiative of its coordinator, Professor Nicolas Vaughan, the Cuban Embassy hosted an interesting exchange of information to motivate a group of Barbadian hikers who will visit several Cuban provinces for the first time in August; to this end, both the Cuban ambassador, Francisco Fernández, and the Saintlucian solidarity leader Rawle Harvey, made presentations on the most relevant aspects of the history, culture, tourist opportunities on the island and the characteristics of the Cuban population. which was complemented with a video that showed the beauty of its beaches and landscapes as well as the richness of its heritage values. At the end of the meeting they enjoyed some delicious food and Cuban drinks, which were well received by visitors.
