Kuala Lumpur, December 1, 2025. In preparation for the Asia Health Summit 2026, Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma held a meeting with its organizers.
They discussed the opportunities that this type of event offers to exhibitors and exporting and importing companies, both of services and of finished products or raw materials.
They also discussed the academic and health medical services of SMC (Cuban Medical Services), and the portfolio of the Cuban Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Group, including BioCubaFarma, Farmacuba, ETI, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), the Finlay Institute of Vaccines, the Center for Molecular Immunology, the Center for Immunoassays, the National Center for Scientific Research, AICA Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Combiomed Digital Medical Technology Company, the Cuban Neuroscience Center, the Center for Animal Production (CENPALAB), and the Center for Biopreparations (BIOCEN).
And of course, there was talk about how much more Cuba could do in this sector if it weren't for all the obstacles of the blockade!
